I read an article sometime ago in regards to improving the adsense Click-through-rate. The author claimed to increase the click through rate by 30%. It's seems simple and it's only 2 steps:
1. Blend the Adsense ads-unit 's Title colour to webpage's Title colour.
2. Change Adsense's Text & URL to light-gray colour.
I have just done the changes today and we will see what happen next, my adsense looks like a paragraph rather than an ads now.

My comment: Overall, the ads unit looks like a mini post instead of an ads. The Adsense ads-unit Title is now more prominent. The description text and URL looks like a mini paragraph of description. The URL is hardly recognised as URL.
So I am experimenting it from today and will let you know the progress if it works.
